The Farm

Sam and I drove the hot rod out to the old farm and took some pictures. It is funny how the memories come back when you stand on the same ground where once there were foot prints and bicycle tracks left by 5 little boys who's summers were an adventure beyond imagination.

Brad puts Sidney to rest

Brad finally put Sidney to rest under the tree behind the garage. Harley knew her right away and stood beside her until Brad covered her up. I am sure Harley will walk around the grave until the sent wears off.

A portion of the family

Here is but a portion of the whole family. Granny is the fiber that keeps us together at family picnics. Our summer days are few but spectacular. A couple times a day Boo licks me as she passes by. It is a gesture suggesting the bond is tight. That's my take anyway.

Brad and the Postal Jeep

It is good to have Brad home for a while. Boo enjoys Brad's company. The Postal Jeep is getting a make over. Julia is having a BBQ Sunday in Brad's honor. Brad and I are going to the pride days celebration in Blackfoot tomorrow(http://www.cityofblackfoot.org/pride_days). Val leaves Tuesday for Washington, then on to Alaska on Thursday. That's it in a nut shell. Life is good.

The BOO experience

Boo's time here is winding down. We have been tending her for a week. Aside from chewing up my hose, sprinkler, spray nozzle, dog food dish, spray can lids and a 2x4 board, she has been fun to have around. She also dug a nice big hole at the end of my beet row. OH BOO!!!

The Three Rodregos

I miss the big 1. We laid down some heavy Sh_ _ back then. But we move on. Post your 4th of July activities. Don't tell me you did nothing (not even pictures?). And yes it did piss off Don Ellis.
