Just Another Sous Vide Sunday

Sundays are a special time at the Russell place, now that we are cooking with science. Today, we put a modern twist on a backyard favorite: hamburgers! There are myriad recipes for sous vide burgers, so I followed the first one after a Google search. The results are shown here.



The texture here is phenomenal. In spite of the very pink color, the texture was certainly not raw. The only way to describe it (as I have other cuts of meat in the sous vide) is smooth. To top it all off, it was super juicy. Once again, the sous vide box produced consistent and surprising results. As we continue our descent down the culinary rabbit hole, we'll keep you posted.
