Back in 29 when times were hard.

It has been an interesting winter for sure. We have played a lot of golf. We have met a lot of new friends. And we have had some fun times. Our next door neighbor is Butch Smith, a good old boy from Tennessee. He gave me a ride in his 1929 Ford Sedan.

The Solstice Exchange

We are winding down quickly. I'm golfing tomorrow with Butch and Ed. Tuesday, Craig and Deloris will be here through Friday. We will take them to dinner on Friday at the Avi Resort. We will be spending Thursday and Friday cleaning and packing for the trip home.
I did some woodwork while I was here.
A picture of my work area.

We actually made friends. Our Tennessee neighbors next door had us over for dinner. Good people!

One more visit with Brad in Chandler before we head home to Idaho

Brad's dog was receptive to Val and I, so we had a good time with her (Karen).

Brad has a new cowboy hat and a cool pair of cowboy boots he got at Goodwill.

We weren't able to spend much time with Brad.It was so good to see him. We will hook up again next summer.

Blue Grass Festival

We went to the Festival on The River. It was Blue Grass all the way.

Do you remember "Oh Brother Where Art Thou"? Same music.

Here is the favorite pass time at Blue Grass Festivals.

We fit right in to this age group.
The generation that made this country great.

Back to Spirit Mountain

We went back up Christmas Tree Pass road to Spirit Mountain Canyon. We walked up the narrow canyon which revealed the Spirit head rock.

I was feeling my oats and got careless on the rocks, eventually spraining my right ankle.

                                                                And We're Done.
