Spring Break in Warner Robins

                                   Spring Break is upon us. There are a lot of popular destinations.

 

Valerie Chose Warner Robins Ga. this year. It got rave reviews in all the HOT SPOT magazines this year.

As you can see, over crowding is not an issue.

She is expecting a family member to pick her up at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport this evening. Here is her most recent picture, so you can spot her at the baggage claim.

Mom's New Ride

We had to get another car, a big one..one that will fit everyone.  I wanted a Fiat 500....or a Mini Clubman.  Not going to work with four kids.....sadness.......and realized that there was no getting around a third row.  Mini Vans were out of the question immediately.  Yes, they are practical, yes, they are really convenient....but they are just Not Me.  We looked at some SUVs, but they are So Cramped on the inside...especially that 3rd row.  And I do not want to put gas in an Armada.  So....the Flex.  I have liked them since I first saw them...yes, kind of odd looking at first...then I saw the inside of one, and then I had a reason to need one...and I just decided this was the best solution for us.  We have been looking at a lot of them the past few month...last night I saw this on a whim and knew it was mine.  It's a 2011, 22, 929 miles, hitch, heated seats, lot's of room, nice neutral color, 100,000 mile warranty, dvd players, it's just right.  I love it.  Ian loves that for the very first time his little Audi will have no kid crud all over it...everyone is happy.

Back in the lower Tundra

Been home a week now. We are going through Acclimatization. There is a never ending list of to does around the house. But first we needed to get the Green House functional and seeds planted.  I am having to use a heat lamp at night to keep the temperature up above 46deg. However some nights negate the effort.

                                    Butch and Kathy sent us off with a picnic on their deck.

          Our cousin Craig Trull and his wife Deloris came up from New Mexico and spent a few days. Julia made a Tiramisu desert but dropped it upside down when she was getting ready to serve it. I wanted to film it but Val said that would be cruel.
