34 years later.

On our way home from visiting Ben & Rachel, Val and I took a narrow winding road for 20 miles to observe historic Mt St. Helen's Volcano. The winding road was in terrible shape. Val suffered a bout of motion sickness coming and going. The volcano exploded 34 years ago. It took us that long to finally visit the site. There was a forest fire burning somewhere in the area, creating a haze at the observation sit. Been there done that.

Inside Ben & Rachel's future home, (maybe) or hopefully.

Ben trying to decide where all his hot rods will go + 2 family cars.

Rachel needs lots of food storage space.
maybe in the bedroom closet too.

No! kids you don't get a tree house in your bedroom.

We all agreed the master bathroom was great, no change necessary.

 A view down the staircase.

Seriously! A damn tree blocking the view of Mt. Rainer.

These two little orphans just want a home.

 selfie at the front door.

Car show at Enumclaw

We were lucky enough to catch a car show at the Enumclaw event center.

Ben and I decided this was our favorite. It had a little 4 cylinder motor.

Yah! this little pickup was badass.
Laden with nostalgic hardware and trinkets.

Days in Washington

 Walks and splashing with Boo.

Amazing walking paths
Blackberries everywhere. We picked lots and made jam.

This is a paradise for Boo.
Can't beat the view.

Grand Kids summer in Idaho

Makinze and Valerie are now back in Washington. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute with them.

Digging in the garden with Elinore.
