Eleven year old Twins

Ruby and Ivy remembered me. They said "aren't you the guy who made up all the games at the Blues Cruz"? Anyway it was great to see them again, they are big girls now.

What I have been up to!

On July 29th, I got home from work in the morning and decided to do my 20 pull-up routine. The pull-up bar that I use is a Golds Gym total gym setup that PROPS UP on the door frame rather than FASTENED to the wall. I have been using this pull-up bar for many months without any problems... until now. Basically it just fell mid workout and I dropped pretty hard on my right ankle. I let the pics do the talking. This was in the ER. Very swollen ankle.

The tip of my tibia was broken off and the ligament that stabilizes you tibia and fibula was torn. 4 screws and a plate were installed.

Stitches and incisions on either side of my ankle. That's gonna leave a scar.Chad R.

Harley's tooth ordeal

We doctored Harley as long as we could. The swelling would go down and she would feel fine. Then it would come back and she would just sleep on her pillow. Tami said it was not loose and it was not ready to pull. Then the swelling would go down again. The last 2 days the swelling got worse and Harley wouldn't eat so it was time. I took her to the East side Clinic today and the doctor pulled the tooth. She is home now eating soft Alpo and feeling better.

The old farm and Alridge

We visited Granny's original home. It is now inhabited by a Spanish family. The trees in front have been there as long a granny can remember. The house has changed very little. Then it was off to Alridge where we picnicked and Sam and Brad had a hand at metal detecting. We finisher the day with a fury of gun fire into an abandoned homestead in a canyon at the base of the Blackfoot river.
