You know what they say about advanced degrees?

B.S. = Bull S#!t
M.S. = More S#!t
Ph.D. = Pile It Higher and Deeper
But what does it all mean?!
Good news friends and family! I have recieved my official letter of admission to Washington State Universty's graduate program in Mechanical Engineering. I'll begin my Master's courswork on the second week of January! Hopefully, I'll have my M.S. in M.E. within about 2.5 years. Go MILFS! I mean, Cougars ... GO Cougars!

The consummet golfers

We got a break in the weather and went golfing at Heise Hot Springs. When we finished the 9th hole, the rain came down in buckets. We stopped at Wendy's for a late lunch and now we are going to waiste the day and do NOTHING.

The Summer that never was.

It just seems this summer was like a bad play. It didn't open well and the ending is not living up to its billing. Maybe it has a lot to do with the fact I almost died during the second act. But who's complaining outside of Alaska? King Kong had a great summer. Anyone remember 158 East Locust Street?

Tara's picks from On Demand

I watched two movies On Demand this week, and loved both of them. First, we watched "Babies"...this is a documentary following the lives of 4 babies in different parts of the world for a year. It is hilarious, it is appropriate for everyone, and I believe anyone would like it. I love the little Mongolian baby (to the left)..he was my favorite. Parts of this movie made me so thankful that I live in America! Too bad the American parents were weird new age hippies in S.F. (and I don't mean Special Forces...). I recommend this movie to everyone.

Next, I finally saw Crazy Heart, and I also loved this film. I love stories of redemption, no matter how late it comes, and this is a good one. Jeff bridges absolutely earned his Oscar for this role. The language in this movie, although realistic, makes it not appropriate for everyone.
If anyone else has seen these movie, let me know, did you like them, hate them, slept through them? I'd like to hear what other people thought about them!

Extreme Pole Dancing

In one of the more obscure corners of the internets, I found this rare gem. As far as I am concerned the indians have truly raised the pole (....er, bar) when it comes to Extreme Pole Dancing.

Duck Days of summer

Fall is already in the air. But the show goes on for DUCK DAYS. Fewer people than last year, could it be the cold sh_ _ _ y weather? Anyway we had a good walk.

In Nashville once again.

Nashville is awesome but looking for a job here is complete hell. Even pizza places aren't hiring. I guess if the name of the game is "sacrifice" I'm doing just that. It is a very humbling experience to be 2000 miles away from home with extremely limited cash and no job. Oh well. I'm not homeless yet. Anyways, in case none of you have heard, check out my personal website at: www.chadsmusicsideshow.com

Will is a child of GOD

Will was baptized Saturday. After setting at the wrong church for about a half hour, Val and I realized there was going to be a Spanish wedding in this Chapel. I am sure all the people were wondering who invited the gringos. So we picked up and found the right Chapel and found our smiling baby Will. After the Baptism, Ben and Julie hosted the best BBQ I have ever had. Will recieved a $100.00 bill towards his education or Lego set. Life is Good!!!!!
