Every time I looked at the Ambulance in the back yard, I thought about Brad and the boys terrorizing the neighborhood with the lights flashing and the siren screaming. All the neighbor kids called it a Ghost Buster car. Good times! Well we pushed it out of the dead end yesterday. It took 2 cans of green slime to keep the tires inflated. It is waiting for a transport to take it to it's new home. Benton put it on Craig's List a couple weeks ago and got a buyer. A doctor who lives in Hawaii and California bought it. He collects Ambulances and the 63 is his favorite year. Another memory has left the back yard.

It sounds like it is going to a good home where it will be lovingly restored...someone is really excited to have a new toy!
sad day!! this is the end of an era :(
It's sad that it's gone. I had good memories with that ambulance. But at least it will go to someone who truly appreciate it.
