Thanksgiving at the neighbors

The family is still cruising the Atlantic. I was fortunate enough to get a (Thanksgiving) dinner invite from the neighbors next door

Here are the gracious hosts, Larry & Fay

They served a huge Ham with all the Thanksgiving trimmings.

The dog got a big plate also.

It's about time to have that leg removed.

Uncle Ben made my work easy. I am taking advantage of the Huzenlaub Process which makes cooking this rice easy. Gordon L. Harwell, an entrepreneur who had supplied rice to the armed forces in World War II, chose the name Uncle Ben’s as a means to expand his marketing efforts to the general public. "Uncle" was a common appellation used in the Southern United States to refer to older male Black slaves or servants.[13]
