Rachel and I took the two toddlers to Denali National Park on the 16th of this month...an all day trip to see the so-called amazing Mt. McKinley-tallest peak in North America. Well, you can barely see it from the park...this on a clear day! You can see it better from the road on the way to the park. Which is still not much of a view. The visitors center was awesome, we let the kids play there for awhile, since they couldn't play anywhere else....too cold! And not to mention surly looking men cruising the park for who knows what....
The coolest part was all of the abandoned vehicles on the way up to the park that were still covered in snow...we saw 3 of them, not to mention a cool old camper...the person who deserted it left all their clothes in it! Probably went off in search of the "magic bus" from Into The Wild. Idiots do this every year and have to be rescued...because they are idiots.
